What you can expect
The first session will be 60 minutes, and your therapist will ask about background information on your life and your top concerns/goals for therapy. Once your counselor has an in-depth understanding of your challenges, he/she will work with you to create a personalized plan for how to meet these goals.
Your counselor will provide a safe, nurturing environment for you to process your feelings, while also guiding you in areas of growth.
